v3 progress
Core contracts
Since last time, we have been busy building and are excited to kick off this edition of GYSR Goss with an update on our v3 progress! We have been wrapping up all core smart contract development for v3, including the last of 5 new modules that comprise this major release - the ERC20 multi reward module 🤯
Here’s the TLDR on the ERC20 multi reward module:
can distribute multiple ERC20 tokens concurrently
allows for vesting schedules to incentivize longer term participation
earned rewards can be claimed at any time
works with ERC20 staking, ERC721 staking, or any other staking module
Projects will be able to offer simple, powerful, and highly flexible reward mechanics to fit almost any use case, built on the GYSR platform’s proven ethos of safe, fast, and reliable tooling. Letting projects reward users with multiple assets means more cool and creative ways to align incentives between projects and communities. .
🤓 Some example recipes - within our modular pool architecture, this multi rewards module can be combined with any of the staking modules to provide:
traditional multi rewards incentives if paired with the ERC20 staking module
NFT multi rewards incentives if paired with the ERC721 staking module
streaming multi token auction if paired with the ERC20 bond staking module
equity vesting if paired with the Assignment staking module
Webapp
Additionally, we have finished integrating the new “Stream” mechanics into the webapp and are currently putting them through user testing. Streams allow Pool owners to stake users at a specified reward rate, which enables those users to claim rewards at any point as they … stream in (think: payroll!)
A user creating a Stream will be able to fund a pool and then add users with a specific, constant rate of the funding token:
This will establish the Stream to begin rewarding those users earning their drip! However, the Stream creator will be able to add other users or additional funding as needed.
For the end user, they will be able to see their rewards and claim at any time:
Our next focus on the webapp side is to build out the UI for the multi reward module developed above!
Subgraph
We have made a ton of upgrades to the GYSR subgraph over the past few months to prepare for the v3 launch. Notable progress on this front includes our updates to handle the new Assignment module, to handle the ERC20 Linear rewards module, and an overall v3 refactor for more flexibility in logic across different modules.
🔏 To go along with our v3 upgrades - did we mention that we like test cases?
🙋 Let us know if you’re interested in becoming a beta tester for our v3 end-to-end testing!
Pool party
Since last time, we have had 5 new pools deployed on the GYSR platform! This includes 4 new pools on Polygon and 1 on Optimism.
To shout out some more specific updates - Perion re-funded its existing pools, Layer2DAO launched two new pools with several rounds of funding, and the Unibright community continues to use GYSR as an innovative solution for proxy staking. Additionally, we’ve extended our GYSR liquidity mining programs on Polygon and Optimism!

Layer 2 co-incentives program
🎉 Introducing the GYSR Layer 2 Growth Initiative! We’ve partnered with Layer2DAO to provide co-incentives to the first 5 qualifying GYSR pools launched on Optimism.
(Only four remaining!)
GYSR adoption helps projects accelerate development speed, improve safety and security, and stay focused on their core tech, while layer2 adoption helps scale the Ethereum ecosystem. By offering additional incentives on GYSR Optimism, we expect to promote L2 growth and adoption.
🧑🤝🧑 We’ve allocated 3,000 OP per project for the first 5 who fund over 20k USD in rewards locked within the first 3 months. This means: create a GYSR pool on Optimism, fund it with rewards (over 20k USD), and reach out! Let us know if you need any help setting up a pool, have questions, or just want to put us in touch with a great project who could benefit from our no-code tooling protocol!
2-Year birthday POAP + GYSR NFT raffle
🎂 GYSR recently celebrated our 2-year birthday and while it's exciting to look back at how far we've come, we’re even more excited to look ahead and think about where we’re going next!
To honor our loyal GYSR Navy, we issued a commemorative POAP to recognize users who had spent $GYSR to boost their rewards in any pool within our first 2 years.
🎟️ Then, to make this birthday extra special, we created five 1/1 GYSR generative art pieces to raffle off, using the GYSR 1-yr and 2-yr birthday POAPs as the raffle tickets!
Platform metrics
GYSR continues to see an active user community, with platform operations growing across Mainnet, Polygon, and Optimism! We just surpassed 4M GYSR vested on our platform since our go-live. This means that end users are showing continued use of the platform by using GYSR to unstake from their geyser positions and to stake their fountain positions - utility! Beyond the cumulative milestone, we’ve been thrilled to see such strong momentum over the past 6 months.
Similarly, we’re seeing a consistent upward trend in users with a nice bump from the influx of Optimism users in November 😉
Development updates to existing platform
Subgraph
We have also rolled out some important changes to the GYSR subgraph over the past few months. These updates include improved pricing logic (to support pricing a secondary token with Uni-v3 and to enable pricing with OP on Optimism), deployment for Goerli testnet, and better tracking and reporting of metrics such as $GYSR vested at the platform, pool, and user levels.
Webapp
You asked, we answered - we just shipped a new set of (heavily requested) webapp features for monitoring your active staking positions 🧑🌾. We have redesigned the staking page to show more stats to end users, such as earnings per day and current multiplier for both Fountain and Aquarium positions, as well as the global unlocked rewards for Geysers.
Additionally, we have upgraded our NFT staking UX by adding support for loading user wallet NFTs on Optimism and Polygon, and integrating Alchemy’s NFT API for multi-chain data.
Talk soon - we have a lot of building to do 🛠️
As always, thanks to our community for all the great support, and please feel free to reach out with any feedback, questions, or ideas.
