Welcome to the sixteenth - and probably most significant to date - installment of GYSR monthly! We use this publication to keep the GYSR community and wider crypto-ecosystem up-to-date with GYSR-related news - “GYSR Goss”, if you will. GYSR joins Passage Protocol
🥳 GYSR is now a part of Passage Protocol, a system of technologies focused on web3 membership infrastructure. The move, which was a year in the making, will expand the reach of both protocols and allow ecosystem projects and communities to deploy comprehensive and full-spectrum rewards, loyalty, and incentive programs.
In addition to GYSR, Passage supports some of the industry’s most cutting-edge membership products, including Tollbooth - a subscription membership service, Fuze - a web3 CDP, Freestyle - a highly configurable NFT builder, Customs - a royalty & NFT metadata verifier, and DNA - an API to manage dynamic-capable NFTs.

v3 progress
Articles series
Since last time, we have wrapped up core development and UI webapp updates for both the Streams and Waterfalls mechanisms. Stay tuned for the next article in our series to learn about the next mechanism 🤫😶🌫️
Core contracts
In terms of core contract work, the focus over the last two months has been on hardening and efficiency. This means lots of testing, validation, iterative refinements, and gas optimization. We also completed some robust integration testing of the bond sale mechanism since the last newsletter.
Webapp
On the webapp side, we’ve finished both the payroll ("Stream") and multi-rewards (“Waterfall”) UI integrations and have started that work for the bond sale mechanism. These upgrades include new staking and claim pages, new pool creation and management pages, improvements to the pool discovery page, and other design and data improvements. Here’s a quick preview of the UI for a Waterfall:
Subgraph
We have also continued to make major upgrades to the GYSR subgraph to prepare for the v3 launch. This includes handling events for the assignment, linear rewards, and multi rewards modules, upgrades for v3 contract support, and a refactor to accommodate multiple staking and reward tokens per pool.
Beta testing
We have an entire fleet from the GYSR Navy performing beta testing on the Streams and Waterfall mechanisms right now, getting familiar with v3 and highlighting cool new use cases.
🙋 Let us know if you’re interested in hopping in for the tail end of Streams and Waterfall testing or would like to join for the upcoming Bond mechanism and additional v3 end-to-end testing! Just let us know in our Discord and we’ll get you set up.
Audit
The last and arguably most important v3 update we have for everyone is that we began an intensive security audit process of the core v3 codebase at the beginning of March! Once finalized, we’ll publish the final report to our safety page and proceed with the official deployment of audited v3 contracts to all (supported) networks. 🚀 🎉
🔏 To go along with our v3 upgrades (and in the same spirit of safety and security) - did we mention that we like test cases?
ETHDenver
In early March, the combined GYSR and Passage team traveled out to Denver for the annual flagship conference. We had a really good productive week full of great conversations, tons of business development, brainstorming cool new ideas, and making new friends. 💡
Happy to report lots of excitement in the GYSR + Passage integration and also our upcoming v3 capabilities from partners, projects, builders, and everyone else we talked to!
Still a little salty about the bear market swag (way more socks than backpacks this year) but pumped about the energy of the conference and incredible builder community! 🛠️
Pool party
Since last time, we have had 6 pools deployed and many re-funded on the GYSR platform! This includes 3 new pools on Optimism, 2 on Mainnet, and 1 on Polygon.
To shout out some more specific updates - NFTEarth deployed an Aquarium on Optimism, Berserker DAO deployed a Fountain on Ethereum, and Layer2DAO refunded their pools several times. Additionally, the Unibright community continues to use GYSR as an innovative solution for proxy staking. Personally, we have continued to fund our GYSR holder pool on Ethereum each month, in addition to our liquidity mining programs on Polygon and Optimism!
Know someone who might want to join the pool party? Check out our renewed referral bounty and help them help you.

Platform metrics
GYSR continues to see an active user community, with growth across Mainnet, Polygon, and Optimism! We just surpassed 6k users and look forward to continuing to grow the community and welcoming in additional users.
Talk soon - we have a lot of building to do 🛠️
